I get the same thing. Also, If you push any buttons, you'll get the dummy tone & it will drain your battery if it isn't reset by pulling the battery & reinstall.

Has anyone ever successfully hacked XTS5000 Ver R09.00.00 to allow for freqs above 470 (for a Q split) to be entered? I've tried searching but everything is for the 3000 & astro spectra.....
