I have an upcoming project that will require me to pull out the factory console out of a 04 Ford Explorer SLT and install a Troy Console with NHD Floor mount. Has anyone ever done one of these? 2003 GMC 2500 Radio Speaker issues
My friend has asked me to help him get better sounding audio from his scanner and 2-way. He has a 2003 GMC 2500 4X4. The problem is that when he is driving down the highway, the road noise and sound of the tires almost drown out the audio from the speakers. Now my friend is a veteran firefighter wit...

Looking to find a vendor that sells a Line Filter that can handle 30 Amps or more. I like the Kenwood KLF-2 units, however they are harder to come by, other than through a dealer. I know that these are sold at automotive stores, but the ones that I have seen all have 18 AWG wire. I am looking for on...

Thanks for the wonderful comments!
As for multiple power lines- very hokey. Multiple feeds are not simple and give many more areas for a failure to occur- and it's just plain unprofessional. It also takes more work and time to run multiples. Multiple lines are what one would expect from a high school vo-tech center, not someone that...
