I have used the z09 parts with no trouble. I have no z06 parts to check but the z09 measured slightly under 50K on my bench meter so I'm not sure where the 20 ohms comes from.

Possibly I missed something here. It is stated that it is a HT1000 radio and reading it with MTSX rss and MTS cps didn't work. How about the actual HT1000 rss that was supposed to work with it. I haven't seen results from using that. Did I miss that part?

Likely to be the jack connection to the circuit board. The contact that the cps uses is not used by an external mic so the problem would not show up until you try to program the radio. Quite a common problem and usually just needs to be soldered down again.

The book says pin C5 is wildcard input for tx pl on/off. You need pin C10 ext ptt. Ground C10 for tx and send tx audio into wireline connector. I have three of them doing it this way. I believe you must also program external ptt mapping to wireline in the channel information--ptt.

On the second tone set, are you putting in the actual tone or the rounded off number from the first set? I run into this all the time with pagers. In my case, tone 1122.5 gets changed to 1122.2 by the program. If I use 1122.5 for the second set, it is rejected but using 1122.2 instead works OK. L.E.
