GE S820/S830 Programmer and Cable...

Post by dvwade33 »

Hello,

I am going to go out on a limb and ask if someone would loan me the programmer and cable to program my uhf GE rangr with S830 head and vhf GE rangr with S820 head? I am normally a motorola man but got these units for a good deal. I work for a two-way communications business and we only have motorola, some kenwood, maxon, and icom stuff. Also none of my other buddies got into GE. In our area we use MDC-1200 ALOT and is required to talk on any county frequency. I do not wish to talk on county frequencies, so there for i do not need MDC-1200.

Well, so there it is...out on a limb...if anyone would like to please let me know.

Thanks,
Dan

You only need to program the control heads, as
they actually download the programming to the
Rangr each time you power up the radio
(odd process, but true).

If you can't find anyone to loan you their programming equipment (good luck
with that) I can help.

Any questions, just PM or e-mail me......
