XTS3000 Public Safety Mic

I believe I properly installed the RF adapter and The public safety mic to the XTS3000 Radio but when I turn it on I get no sound on the mic or from the radio at all it does transmit when I push the PTT button on the Mic does anyone know what could be the problem?

Try the mic without the adaptor. Make sure you have an antenna on the radio. The adaptor only provides RF to the mic. The mic should work like a regular one without the adaptor.

Well I actually had the RF adapter installed with the antena on the public safety mic and no sound was comming from it, maybe the mic is defective or the adapter is not installed correctly? I have no idea.
