FINALLY a good use for an Iden radio

Post by phrawg »

Got an e-mail today from /\/\ that has a radio control car for sale
that uses a plug in module to the bottom of select iden radios
to link to an rc car and uses the sounds and vibrator in the radio
to "simulate sound and feel" when playing with this toy. $100.00
wish I could get the whole page to load so you could all see that
/\/\ finally has found a good use for the next-hell handset !
Did anyone else get this ? if so maybe you can get it to post
or a link so we all can see this one. Or maybe I can forward
it to someone who can figure out how to do it. Phrawg

I got that ad by email yesterday. It says you can buy this Maserati from MOL as part # NNTN6402A.

I looked that up on MOL and it said "Item has been canceled"

Must have been the shortest promotion in history!

And when the car drives off a cliff because of RETRY A3 C2.....
"I'll eat you like a plate of bacon and eggs in the morning. "
- Some loser on rr.com

eBay at it's finest:
Me: "What exactly is a 900Mhz UHF CB?"
Them: "A very nice CB at 900Mhz speed!"

:-?
