Questions about, M1225, HT1250, & CPS

Post by Chad8912 »

I have a M1225 (20ch) mobile in my truck. I need to reprogam. I have a HT1250 that I do the programing with Motorola CPS and a ribless cable. The CPS says "HT series & CDM series" on the cover. From what I can tell it is version R06.00.00 . Will this work with my M1225 if I get a ribless cable to fit, and will it work on my new laptop running windows XP with the SP2 upgrades?
I'm new to this so please go easy on me and any info or advise will be helpful.
Thanks,

What radios do you own?: HT1550's, X9000's, CDM1550's

i honestly think it would be cheaper for you to get yourself a cdm1250 and use your current cps instead of spending just as much on the software for the m1225. the cdm will do 64ch too. plus if it cost you $300 for a used cdm, you can probablly get most of that back by selling your m1225. but you will just be totally out of a couple hundred if you buy the software.

the CDM is a much better radio than the M1225.. you will not regret that decision
