XTS2500 Scan Issue!

Hi Group; Well I have a problem that I have not been able to figure out I have a XTS2500 (8 MEG) and I can't get it to scan talkgroups in differant zones only within same zone? And I can only get 10 talkgroups to scan with a zone? Can anyone HELP? Thanks, Bill

If you want to scan talkgroups from more than 1 system, make sure your scan list is set for talkgroup scan, and that multi system scan is checked..

Thanks for the reply! I tried that and because I have 3 systems in the radio it don't work. All I get is "OUT OF RANGE" any other thing I can try? And why is it only 10 talkgroups on a 2500, I have 16 on a 5000?

you can only scan 10 talkgroups even on the 5000, you must be thinking of conventional scan which allows 15

Unless you have some old firmware/codplug in your radio, the 5000 will scan 15+1 talkgroups..

15 member scan list is possible with Priority Monitor scan type, not Talkgroup
