XTS2500 w/ broken PTT switch

Post by d119 »

Anyone know the part number or where to obtain a replacement PTT switch for the XTS 2500?

I'm referring specifically to the surface-mount button itself that is soldered to the board. Didn't see that in any exploded views.

Any help?

Thanks.

Ordered that one and it was for the Waris series radios, and wouldn't work on the XTS.

That PTT switch seems to be a weak point as most of my XTS2500's that went to depot had that issue. The weak PTT paddle was addressed by a FSB and the only other issue that has been mentioned which I had one radio do is a bad ABC switch which caused the radio to jump zones and affiliate on two different talkgroups like no tomorrow...
