XTS3000 to 3000R

Can an XTS3000 be "upgraded" to a XTS3000R simply by installing the ruggedized housing? Or, are there internal differences between the two models?

Hi Yosh! I posted an answer to this question! (and I forgot where it is?) a few months ago! I use a xts3000r at work! If I recall right it was just the ruggedized housing..
