ASTRO Spectra Plus - Homemade Cable

Post by psteele35 »

I have searched and can't seem to find the answer to my questions...

Does anyone have the schematic for the ASTRO Spectra Plus programming cable... HKN6155A ?

Since it's ribless, is it possible to make a cable using an old mic cord and a DB9 connector?

I really don't want to spend over $100 on the cable from Motorola.

Ribless doesn't mean ribless. It means you don't need a rib box, but that the rib is built into the cable, so it's not just a mike cord & connecter. GARY N4KVE
