Programming a Conventional Multicast System

Post by MTS2000 »

Hello all,

Wanting to program the Kentucky State Police UHF conventional Multicast system in my XTS5000. Each Post has a B channel which is Dispatch and an A channel which is the Alternate. Each channel utilizes different frequencies in different counties in the Post's coverage area.

I know I would have to program it as Conventional Voting Scan but would I have to program each frequencies pair in separate channels? I've noticed in the conventional personalities there's a tab called Frequency Options that allows you to enter more frequencies. Could I use that to enter the other channel pairs for a specific Post's channel instead of using multiple channels in the Zone.

Any help would be appreciated.
