XTS2500 programing

OK so got a fun one. I have an xts2500 that I was trying to program. I can read the radio no problem. I can can add and change things for the most part. I loaded my system key and build the trunking system and then went to the zone and channel part and was trying to change the channel from conv. to trunking but the mouse pointer turns into the little glasses and it will not allow me to change to trunking. So all it will do is conv. Any one know what this means and how to fix it

FPP & Trunking in the same radio went by by after R09.. As it sits, you will only be able to use it as a conventional radio..

Crap so if I dump the fpp as I do not need that it should be OK

Yup, you got it.. It's mainly the Q53 causing the conflict. Q52 plays nice with trunking in the radio, but Moto changed things up after R09, that dropped FPP from the menu items if you didn't have Q53 with it. So it basically turned into a double edged sword..

Well thanks for the input. I will kick out the FPP Q53. I need trunking more then FPP.
