XTL5000 No Tx Audio

Post by jbrian »

I have a remoted XTL5000 in VHF. I have found that when using it on repeated channels if I transmit with a carrier present no transmit audio is present.(i.e. repeater hang time) I have confirmed this with trying to transmit on a simplex channel prior to the other user completing their transmission. I have search through the programming many times and still have not came to the reason why this is happening. I have verified that all DVRS settings are disabled. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Justin

What do you mean by "REMOTED"? Are you trying to say this is a remote mount configuration like a trunk mount, or are you saying that you have a tone remote adapter connected to the radio?

Are you using the normal mic or using a remote mice connected to the accessory connector?

Need to supply more detailed information for any help from the group here.
