Bought a Motorola GP680 off here used

anyone have a idea what cps I need to program it ?

I tried the newest PRO cps that I use for my CDM and ht1250 no dice

it's a European Waris radio, my guess is EU Waris CPS...

I did a google search on gp680 cps and from what I found, it looks like there is an MPT specific version of the Waris European CPS that will program that radio. I found a number of threads in both US and UK forums that discussed this in detail. Probably worth an in depth look.

Edit to add: from the model number given, this is definitely an MPT radio.

flashing it to a 750 or 1250 would not be so simple since the hardware is significantly different. The CPS software that you need is the CPS GM/GP series do a quick google search for it and you will find some information on it
