I'm new to this repeater and according to the set-up guide the blinking LED on the front next to the word "Disabled" mean the following:
Solid RED= Repeater function disabled.
Blinking RED= Repeater in self-test mode.
Off= Repeater in normal operational mode

The repeater I am working on always blinks? How do i get it into "Normal Operation Mode"?
Thanks,
NOLO

Might be stuck in a boot loop. Can you read with CPS? Does it show up on RDAC?

What alarms do you see when you connect with RDAC?

There are two (hidden) fields in your codeplug which affect this enable/disabled status:

BR_RPTENSTTFLG
BR_RPTENGPIOIND

RPTENSTTFLG means Repeater Enable Station Transmit Flag and RPTENGPIOIND is Repeater Enable GPIO Indicator. The first value affects how it shows up in RDAC (white/enabled or red/disabled). The second is the repeater status indicator, as shown via station LEDs.

When those are set to "0" (XML code), your red light will flash and the repeater is disabled. As escomm hinted, you enable your repeater with RDAC, however if you do not know the network authentication key or the master IP address, you cannot enable your repeater.

If you are unable to get the repeater enabled on your own, send me a PM and I'll help you out.

I reviewed the OP's codeplug and the condition I described is NOT the cause of the "disabled" state. There's something else going on.

What if you were to flash a new fresh codeplug into it, would that re-enable it?

The light is still blinking and it doesn't interfere with the repeater receiving and broadcasting.
RDAC error codes are as follows:
After powering on, the only error code is "Fan Alarm"
After TX and RX, there is also "VSWR Alarm" and "TX Power Alarm"
Firmware was also updated

Radio ID 1
Name Type State Time (sec) Diagnostics Name Diagnostics Value
Power Unleveled Alarm Minor Detected 75 N/A 0
Power Unleveled Alarm Minor Detected 75 N/A 0
Power Unleveled Alarm Minor Detected 75 N/A 0
Power Unleveled Alarm Minor Detected 75 N/A 0
VSWR Major Alarm Minor Detected 75 N/A 0
VSWR Major Alarm Minor Detected 75 N/A 0
VSWR Major Alarm Minor Detected 76 N/A 0
VSWR Major Alarm Minor Detected 76 N/A 0

Welp your repeater thinks the VSWR is high, get out your watt meter......

The antenna is a cheap one I connected for testing, so I will move it back to it's mounted proper antenna, I assume those errors will go away. What can cause the fan error? They are both running. Would a fan error alone, be enough to keep the disabled light blinking?
