GTX 900 mobile

Post by hinkeydo »

I just bought one, and the software says it's 860-940, but I was told by the seller all I had to do was program it, but the lowest frequency it will go to is 935.000. Does it have to be modified to do ham frequencies?

Not exactly. The radio has a wide design range, but there is a band limit in the programming software.

You have to hack the band limits in the .MDF file to get them to work in the ham band.
Look at http://www.batlabs.com/ in the GTX section to find out how.
It takes a little time, but is not that tough.
