Visar Accessory Connector

Pin one is listed as "Option Select 1"

Is there a spot in programing to assign what that pin is for ? and if so where in the program is it, I have looked but could not find it...

Option select is the external 'devices' connected to the side contacts of the radio.

The option select line 'selects' the proper operation of speaker mics, headsets and 'spy' surveillance audio accessories and tells the radio's controller what is connected to it and 'how' to operate it as well.

You can not 'assign' this pin, it's controlled strictly by the radio controller.

There is also no RF connection to the side port either, so no spkr/mics with antennas will function if connected to it, and Circle-M never made a 'public safety' mic for the Visar as it's never been rated for P.S use.
