Define cheap. Anytime you you make an investment into warning equipment, either for a fleet or your own vehicle, you make an investment not only in your ability to respond quicklky and easily recognized, but more importantly the safety of yourself, your crew and others.

If you are looking to go cheaper and effective, you should look a set of halogen flashers. You can buy a new set for about $40. If you can, think about the extra bucks and get yourself some LEDs.

Yeah I agree with lshlights.com for saving a couple dollars but note that they take FOREVER to ship and they're very bad with keeping you up to date. I had to wait about a month for the "in stock" items to arrive.

I could not agree more with CHIPJUMPER.. i ordered a set from them and then had to email them to find out it was never sent and was on back order and they had no info nor did they ever tell me what was up... so i cxled the order and ordered from somehere else.

Yeah I wasn't too happy with that but I could afford the extra waiting time since I knew I wasn't going to install what I ordered for at least a month. Hell I still haven't installed the junk.

Check out the Lightning X LX4's 4-diode LED's.... you can split them so each head has a white/amber and sync them togeather for the back window. They also have a dash light that can be done the same way.

Very Very Bright lights.

That SpecTIR8 unit is probably brighter than the TIR3 or LX4. Yeah its not made for outdoor use but its probably the best bang for your buck at $71 each.

I think I'm gonna pickup a couple of those for side window warning.
