Motorola RCH3000 and MCS2000

Post by MotoFAN »

Hi all!

I have Motorola RCH3000 and MCS2000. I want to make remotely controlled radio.

What else I need?

Junction Box? Modem? Something else?

I am tried to find out any helpful info about RCH3000, but has not found anything useful.

P.S.
Also I can buy Motorola L3032 modem for RCH3000. It will be useful for me? Or I don't need in modem, but need Junction Box?

Please help!

The thread given has lots of good information. Is your MCS2000 a Model III? It needs to be in order to work. Are you remoting it within the same room, or same building, or from miles away? There is a limitation of 50 feet for a direct cable connection as described in the given thread. If a junction box is used, I believe you can go up to 1000ft, although it might be more (no manual in front of me). For remoting over large distances through leased phone lines, you require the modems.

Ooops guys, I am very sorry.

I have purchased RCH3000, but really it appears as DGT9000 :(
