Now that was quick, I haven't taken it out of the box yet but who knows what problems it fixes or features it adds.

Well I got mine last monday and I haven't found what they changed yet. I can tell you it will still let you program out of band. I took a UHF Astro spectra to 441 with no problems. And the VHF down to 143 and no problems. Other than that I am lost as to the new release.

I'm waiting for the XTS 3500 software to come out in the Windows version. Now that i'm used to this CPS format I like it. Hopefully they upgrade the rest of the product line.
