HT1000 Mic with XTS2500 II

Will a HT1000 mic (NMN6193C) work on the XTS2500 II? Basic PTT operation is all that's needed. Thanks....

You need the speaker mic adapter 4385665D01 if it's not already installed

To clarify, this is the plastic adapter that goes on the back of the PR/MT/XTS 1500 and XTS 2500 to help the Jedi/XTS3k/XTS5k mics fit more snugly. Technically you can run without them but having them is highly recommended, especially as it's a $5 part.
