MTX (Waris) Programming Software

Does it use the same CPS as the HT/CDM models or does it require it's own software? I searched on the board, but couldn't find a clear answer.

No, it uses its own. The name escapes me at the moment but it something like trunking professional cps.

Thanks for the help... will see the Motorola dealer about programming costs as I don't have the license for this software. Nee to pick up new chargers anyway (rolls eyes)

Hallo!
I have a GP580 and when I use the cps software R02.03.00 and trying to read the radio it ask for cps password.
Could someone help or is it someone that have a trunk codeplug for that radio.

the cps password is a password set on the radio, you may need to do a hex editor on the radio to remove the password, check out this thread
