Minitor IV Programming Problem

Post by FFMikeM »

Hey all!

I've got a Minitor IV I'm trying to program. The person wants option #14 for switch A. Option #14 is F1/Vibrate/On/Off Duty Enabled/Selective Call/Press To Listen. When I chose this option while programming, the On/Off Duty drop downs stay grayed out in the tone fields...

any ideas?

Mike,

It appears to be a software problem with the Windows version.
I got the same results as you did.
What you are trying to do works fine with the DOS version of the software.

With your version of the Windows software, set the switch position that you
want to be Option 14 to Option 8, then program your ON/OFF Duty parameters,
then change the switch position from 8 to 14, and WRITE the pager.

I did not test this on a pager, but my guess is that it will work.
