Just remember... Depending on the radio this can be 30kc or so...The front end of the radio/repeater will take care of weeding out the out-of-bandpass adjacent channels.

People have done simulcast over that but I wouldnt suggest it...
RF links would do the trick though... Lowband rf link would be different...

Im not familiar with Mastr lll stations. Are they crystal controlled? If it is then the clock would not be needed but the channel elements would have to be super stable. Keep in mind that simulcasting lowband is never recommended. If you try it... Good Luck! Too much overlap. UHF on the other hand works great. The SNV12 can make a great crossband voter. But with major system changes in your future I have to ask why you wouldnt be designing the lowband out of your sy...

In our area we have several transmitters that rely on phone lines to dispatch. We've installed small repeater makers on a couple of sites with backup pl tones. Dispatch has a backup basestation that can talk through these stations if needed. The cars also have these channels programmed in them.

Do you have a path? An unlicensed tsunami link, Motorola Canopy ect. could be made to work and if your rural enough, you wouldn't probably have to worry about other users. ... I really don't like the idea of unlicensed links but it could be put in place until funding becomes available for the licens...

We service a hospital that we do half of what Jim suggested...
We have leaky coax on the receive side running down 4 floors and a 1/4~ mounted on the ventilation ducting for the transmit side. 15 watt transmit.
Works well.

Depends on what your using as an input. You might try using the discriminator audio pin 11 with "filtered audio" turned on in rss if it provides enough signal which it should. That way the volume pot of the radio wont have any affect on those speakers and can be used to control the local r...

Jason- CDM mobile radios are not the radio of choice to be installed on a commercial radio site. And next to a cell tower, the ports of those radios will be seeing 24 hours a day of rf energy from the cellular stuff, due mainly to the fact that duplexers sold by all the big suppliers aren't designed...

Just to add- although we're not set up to triangulate, one could go to the power splitter and look at each of the antenna's manually and look at the signal strength of an interfering signal if it hung around long enough...

Its about the same This site is at the north end of the county so no north facing antenna was needed. Power is directed in three directions now. We took out probably 50 feet of 1/2 inch heliax and the antenna was probably 35 years old or so. We took a lot of loss out of the system but lost a little ...

We have had problems with the Rad Mus in that manner ourselves. Biggest problem is the downtime sending the units in for repair as they go to Israel. No experience with your config either. Would another solution be viable for them?

The stations do not provide a charging circuit. What you have is a direct link to the 12 or 24 volt section of the power supply. The manual says not to connect batteries straight to the station. Im not sure what harm that would do to the station if any. You may just be overcharging the battery. Moto...
