Re: 2014 Sprinter Ambulance AM/FM Problem
I cant say anything for certain about the Kenwood radio, but the ridiculous amount of hours I spend in Sprinters with OEM sound, I can say this.... in my truck at work, running a Kenwood TK-5820 with fender antenna and a 110w Motorola VHF XTL5000 on a roof whip antenna, we have zero issues with the ...

Re: 2015 Explorer VHF antenna
There is a company called Air-EL that makes light-up roof unit ID markings for fire/ems/police vehicles (think formation lighting on military aircraft). They also make a roof plate for mounting radio antennas and these lights, and IIRC for the tahoes and explorers they use the factory mounting bolts...

Re: 2013 Ford Police Interceptor Wiring diagram
I havent got my hands on mine yet, but I ordered an PI Utility with the full Ford lighting kit. Hopefully since it's a personal vehicle, i'll get the siren software and most of the diagrams and manuals on how to decipher this crap. That said, has anyone messed with the prewiring on these? I see a pi...

XTL front panel programming... is it here yet?
Ive searched and searched, and figured I'd ask. I havent seen it myself yet, but has Motorola updated these yet with FPP, in stock form or with an 03 mic? Would love to swap out my Icom for a Moto radio in the truck.

Re: Will a T3011AX not program a Saber with NTN5833C modules?
You think is a bad Hi-Rose adapter? The cable I have is genuine Moto kit, not so sure about the radio adapter. I did notice though that the pin layout is different, between the "Saber/Systems Saber" and the "Astro Saber" adapters. Like I said earlier, sorry for my ignorance to th...

Re: Will a T3011AX not program a Saber with NTN5833C modules?
well, i went down to BearCom here in Houston, some awesome people by the way, and played around with it. Turns out, it was the cable I have, more so the Saber Hi-Rose adapter. I used one of their Saber-specific KVL cables, which mirrors an Astro Saber hi-rose adapter (all pins + 3 at the top left), ...

Will a T3011AX not program a Saber with NTN5833C modules?
Totally new to the board, so excuse my ignorance in my first post. Basic rundown... I have 3 very nice, almost like-new Saber IIs I bought of ebay a while back. Probably recased, but very good condition non-the-less. Pulled them apart to check the secure modules, all show to be NTN5833C modules. So,...
