If you create a MDC call list with the correct number of blank entries you can then open your CVS in Excel then copy. Go into APX CPS and select the first row and column of your MDC list and Paste. Should put everything in assuming the format is correct.

You set MS0-MS12 like you set presets on an AM/FM radio as a user setting. Then that button is now set that when you push it momentarily...

Since the error indicates the head is not talking to the radio and more than one head are doing it, I would suggest trying a different cable also. Probably not the issue but a lot easier than pulling it for repair.

What do you need to do to convert a W5 XTL5000 to a W3 control head? Looking at the service manual it looks like it is the same TIB. However when I try to change the control head type in the CPS it says W3 is not supported by the radio hardware. Any suggestions? Has anyone done this?

Checking the Talkaround box allows you to define a frequency and squelch mode for the talkaround function for that specific mode. It also makes talkaround available on the menu if so defined when that channel is selected.

This works with the TKN8531 "hi-rose" cable if you already have one of those. It is cheaper than the full APX loader cable.
