The issue is pretty low on my to do list right now. But the laugh was appreciated! I did find the coil pack that was the culprit...just gotta see if they will order a replacement.

Okay I am completely perplexed. We have two 2012 Dodge Ram 1500 Hemi's that have a horrible whine coming through both TK790's installed in it. Both radios are wired directly to the battery, have line filters installed, and all vehicle grounds have been checked and reinforced. Here is the kicker...if...

I've checked the device manager for conflicts...but noting looks like its conflicting to me. The laptop does have a serial port on it...no usb adapter. I have programmed 1225's before with this laptop with no problems at all.

In the monitor i can only select com ports that are active in the device manager. I have not figured out how to verify if the GPS is installed. can someone walk me through that?

Ok i have been digging around on the internet for the passed couple of days but have had no luck! I have the same problem. I have been trying to find the a FLASHkey on MOL and I think i found it. Can someone confirm if this is it? Item number RVN4212A. I need to upgrade the firmware in 2 xts5000's. The firmware that's in them i ridiculously old (4.xx.xx) do i need to upgrade in steps?

Alright well i figured out the problem after my radio stopped transmitting audio. The flex connector inside came loose. All back together now and sounds great with the original settings in the thread. Thanks for everyone's help!!!
