Re: DAYTON 2017! Who's in? The official 2017 thread
There was a few of us that know each other via facebook that used P25. I was on both P25, and DMR. Lots of DMR activity this year.

Re: MSF5000 Programming
I meant CXB but I'll have to double check the model number of the two digital ones we have. IIRC I think the one we have in service the repeater priority is set to Local/Repeater/Wireline/Data now. But at one point we did have it set to Repeater/Local and that didn't make a difference. Thanks for th...

Re: 3 Control Heads on a PM1500
Maybe they have two radios installed. Unless there is an aftermarket module you can buy to allow 3 heads. I remember about 2 years ago I was working for a local shop and one of the fire dept's wanted a dual head configuration on their tower ladder using a CDM1550, we used some kind of box I forget w...

Re: HT1250 220MHz Modification - Any help?
Now does the TANAPA change with firmware? The HT1250 I bought a while ago had the original firmware version 01.xx.xx I don't remember the rest of the numbers since I had the firmware upgraded to version 03.01.03 a while ago and the TANAPA number on the sticker is PMUE1407A. And I'm using kid 03.04.0...

Re: MT1000 152-174 Split
Okay so I have checked all the MT1000's there are 12 of them, 5 of them are the 152.9-174 split, and the other 7 are the 146-174 split. So yes it may appear that the 152.9-174 split radios are earlier models but some of the are the same revision "AN" and they all have the same model number

Re: HT1250 issues with speaker Mic
Okay I tried the other housing that had a flex in it...Well the PTT didn't want to work on the other flex. On the other housing I cleaned the flex at the end that goes into the radio and blew some air into the connector it self on the radio, and it appears it is working as it should so far. I think ...

Re: HT1250 issues with speaker Mic
I have another 1250 case laying around I'll slap that on and see if I have any issues. That will give me an idea if there is a flex cable issue with the housing that is currently on the radio.

Re: HT1250 issues with speaker Mic
I'll give that a shot all. How ever it has the black battery seal. I'm thinking this may be a firmware issues? It currently has Firmware version 03.01.03. It only does this when I use a speaker mic.

HT1250 issues with speaker Mic
Hi gang... My HT1250 has a little fluke, every once in a while when I use my speaker mic with my 1250 it likes to reboot. Has any one encountered this problem before? I'm pretty sure I tried using a different mic a while back and it still did the same thing so I'm pretty sure its not the speaker mic...

Re: MT1000 152-174 Split
I see that the RSS does list that bandsplit but I have never seen one and the MT1000 series service manual only lists 136-151, 146-162, 157-174 and 146-174 as valid bandsplits. (see 68P81067C40-B Page 11 for the tables of VCO voltages vs frequency for the various bandsplits) I believe the 157-174 c...

Re: MT1000 152-174 Split
I really hate to correct you but RSS is telling me that this is a 152.9-174 split radio. You might want to recheck the info that you have because under the bandsplit screen there are a few different band splits on the VHF version . I'm going to try and use the Hex Editor that batlabs recommended, I ...

MT1000 152-174 Split
Have 10 or so MT1000's that I saved from being thrown out from my local RedCross Chapter, they were donated to us a few years ago from the NPS these radios are 152-174 split. I've did some research on trying to get them to program on the 2 meter ham band, on Repeater-Builder they gave a little help ...

Re: XTS3000 Non Matching tags
The electronic serial number on mine is 620axn0064 with Host 7.22.01 and DSPN 08.03.02.. I think using lab software you are able to change the model number and serial number On my friends xts3000 his radio is a BN revision but in the service menu and cps it says AN, but his serial number matches tho...

What to know when buying a XTS3000
With income taxes coming in I'm looking to spoil my self with an XTS3000, they seem to have decent prices on ebay (depending on the flash and what not). So what are some things I need to look out for and I should know when purchasing one of these units? I know of the obvious like radios with no tags...
