Re: Watchdog pagers
After having these Watchdogs for a few years now, they seem to be running neck and neck with the M5 on trips to the service depot. Although some one above mentioned the volume wasn't very loud, on ours they are much louder then the M5. Also, US Alert's turn-around time has slowed a bit in the past y...

Don't know what your duty cycle will be but if its high, the PA will crap out on the transmitter radio eventually. I ran 2 CDMs on a temporary DPW repeater with 100 mobiles and it lasted a few months. Its since been changed to an MTR.

Looking for the part number for an APX7500 09 head accessory cable. This is the square jack on the back of the 09 head. All I can find is for the 03 and 05 but I'm guessing they might be the same. (HKN6160)

We've been trying a few dozen over the past year and very few problems. A few chargers broke, which they replaced. And one pager lost squelch. Otherwise they seem to work pretty decent. The main complaint I've heard about them is they are too big.

Just a wild guess but if your Maxtrac has the 16 pin accessory connector in the rear, make sure the black plug is there. There is audio jumpers in that plug. If the plug is missing, audio won't be jumped to the internal speaker. If the radio has the white 5 pin plug, then it won't matter wheather it...
