Motorola out-of-date parts database?
It's spring time, and that means it's time to go through the parts room and make room for the new round of Motorola parts. Unfortunately we have +30 years worth of parts, and I have no clue what half of them go to. Does anyone know if there is a Motorola database somewhere that breaks down what mode...

Re: SNV-12 Voter audio issues on a 2.5khz system
jwwissman, I am very confused by your post. Narrow-banding, if done properly, should have no effect on your transmit or receive wireline levels, or the operation of the SNV-12 voter. When you program a receiver or base station for narrow band, it should automatically adjust the wireline levels to co...

1. Has anybody voted a narrow band with a snv-12 voter? Yes 2. Did you use status tone from the radios? most of ours use status tone. Some use COR via E&M signalling through a T1 3. How did you determine your levels for audio? See section 4.6.7 in your SNV-12 Operations manual. We inject a sign...

Pat, The tech at Raytheon did say that the LED would look dimmer if the voltage started to sag. We observed intermittent staticy/hissy TX audio and tones from the console and all sites. Eventually the LLGT was delayed or missing all together. I have some XPR4550 radios that I am using in conventional, and we were thinking of upgrading to a digital format so we could take advantage of GPS location updates.
