Don't remember any setting in software that would lower audio. Common problem with low audio in Advisor IIs. If it's out of warranty you can replace it with a part from Digi-Key, 102-1460.

The old NiCd NTN7143CR is now the NTN7143DR NiMh. I don't think there is any difference in size or shape. List $74.

LS355 "CODING"

Pager came in for repair and display shows "CODING" even when off. I can read/write and even dumped a default program in from a new unit. Haven't run into this before and just wondering if anybody knows a fix. Pager out of warranty.

If they are DC remotes the polarity is important on the old stuff too. Try reversing the phone lines.

Had a Minitor V charger amp at the depot since March and received a replacement "C" version back today. Haven't had a chance to test it but keeping my fingers crossed.

I have to agree with FireCpt809. Set them for steady burn and flash with an external LED flasher. Able 2 has one for about $25 list (11.1005SF) that does strobe patterns or faster than standard flashers anyway.

Hope I didn't get you in a bind. Most of my customers go with the standard charger but of the ones with the charger amp I ony had to replace one and that was from the original version. Guess I'll go back to advising against it! :roll:

HLN9242 is the 16 pin accy kit with a connector, 9 wires with a connector on one end, 16 crimping terminals and a removal tool. List is $5.65.

I've replaced quite a few and haven't had any recalls. You can always add a drop of glue if you want. Changing the knob assembly is much harder than replacing the rubber cap. LS pagers require different software and an infrared serial adapter. None of the part numbers show as still available.
