800 mhz syntor x9000 conventional to 900 ?

Post by phrawg »

Hi all I have a 800 mhz syntor X9000 with a full alpha control head
and cable set in great working order that is just begging me to be put
on 900. Has anyone done any work on this unit yet ? Any ideas ?
Starting from scratch here. Dont have the rss yet or the manual or whatever else so the quest is on ! Anyone got a manual while I call /\/\
to see what I will have to shell out to them. I have played with
Maxtracs and spectras and even a 800 Mitrek (yes they made one)
but an 800 conv syntor 9000 is a new bird. The model is
a T45KEJ7J04AK . Any ideas or starting points or experiences
appreciated. Thanks, Phrawg. N5SPU

It has been done. There are some documents in the files area of the 900 ham yahoo group that may help you.
