Worthy candidate for conversion???

Post by Blitzbug2u »

Is Mod# H01WCC4DB3AN NX a worthy unit to consider converting to 900 Mhz?? Local repeater going up(Rcv-927.6625/Xmt-902.6625). Is this a "banging my head up against the wall" persuit?? ALL input is appreciated. Thanks in advance from a 900 "newbie". Blitz.

MTX9000

Hi,

That's an MTX9000, and it may work on the ham band. We've found that roughly 60% of them will remain "locked" in the 902/927 ham band. You need to "tweak" the MTSX RSS to allow it to be programmed in the ham bands - see BATLABS for info.
