M5 engineer mode

Post by jim »

Using WinHex, I notice that the M4's engineer login's password is embedded in the M5 software's coding.

Obviously, there is a chance that some of the coding is carried over from M4 to M5 and there MAY possibly be a hidden lab or engineer mode somewhere in there.

The help file for the Min 5 also refers to the Engineering mode and even refers to the two icons related to this mode. It tells you that ctrl-L let you log on. But it doesn’t work. It looks like the Min 5 program is a quick patch made to the Min 4 software. Some things added, some things cut out, other things left behind or cut up.
But for the Min 4, the help file shows what the engineering mode will do for you.
