quick power question

quick power question

i am looking to put an x 9000 low band, a vhf ( spectra or x9000) and a uhf spectra in my truck 2001 dodge ram. can i get away with stock battery and alt. or will i have to up grade?? any in put on this install any at all would be great. thanks alot all.

A stock alternator and battery will be fine. Remember, you will not be transmitting on more than one radio at a time. Your biggest load will be the 100 watt low band x9000, about 30 amps on transmit.

If you do replace the battery, due to age, we use the yellow top optima. Best battery for rugged service out there.
