Custom stainless steel and powder coated tray was created providing a no holes drilled mount for all of the equipment. Mounts to upper flange of driver's side passenger seat.
Custom pattern selection was built into the panel. 4 toggle switches were installed to allow on the fly changes of the 16 available flash patterns which would not normally be changed when operating in b-link mode.
I'll have to add pics of the custom speaker mounting brackets that were fabricated. Dual 314 Speakers are mount behind the lower bumper valance to the outside of the vehicle frame using existing vehicle bolt hole locations. Yes this is similar to the stock whelen brackets, BUT they do not hang down as low as the stock version does. The stock brackets just scream rip me off on a park space barricade or if the vehicle is driven off road. Our design protects the speakers from such damage,
B+ power was supplied by 6ga main lead to the BL-DIST. I created a custom 4 wire jacketed harness for the siren speaker leads. This was terminated using a 4 wire GM weather-PAK connector which split the leads to each speaker. Another set of 2 position weather-PAK connectors were used at the speakers themselves creating a modular harness. If a speaker falls it can simply be unplugged and replaced without having to cut or rework the harness.
MPC01 Control head was mounted to the dash using another custom fabricated bracket out of stainless steel which was then powder coated.
If you're wondering where the spectra is, its currently mounted inside the factory console. Drawer unit is mounted on another no holes drillec custom fabricated tray.
The old school analog cell phone was in here long before I worked on this vehicle!
