I have a dynamax speaker on what I think is a universal or CVPI bracket (the black plate type, not the bailmount universal bracket unfortunately).
Removing and getting access to the grille area is not a problem, however I can't figure out how and were to mount this speaker. Is it doable with this kind of bracket, or do I need a U-type bailmount? How have folks mounted speakers like these in 03 type suburbans/tahoes.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

- What radios do you own?: Alot..
Federal makes a specific bracket for a tahoe. Its very simple to install. I have one if you need it they are like $40. If not you can use the bail bracket but its very tight against the grill.
