So, I've been asked to put blinky lights, a radio and siren in a Pontiac G6. I thought I would appeal to the group for some suggestions on what equipment to buy for this install. The radio will be an XTL5000 03, and I figured a remote mount type siren control. And probably corner strobes. Other than that, I am looking for ideas. Oh, BTW the driver does not have an issue with an antenna on the trunk (?!) What would be some stealthy alternatives?
Thank you!

800MHz I assume? Antenex Phantom Elite on the roof for the antenna (it's already got one shark-fin up there for the XM/Onstar, adding another on the rear would be hardly noticable).
How wacktastic do you need to be with the lighting? Just a "get the hell out of my way" for patrol officers when he's entering a scene, or a real response vehicle?
I'd probably do:
Wig-wags (cheap and damned effective)
LED hideaways in the cornering lamps
LED hideaways in the fog lamps (play with the Whelen LAWs, try pulling the fog light bulb out and rigging the LAW inside some way... it'll fill the reflector and be bright as hell)
LED hideaways in the brake lights and reverse lights (if room is available... Whelen Vertexs might work better in reverse lights due to lower depth).
You can't do much more and be ultra-stealthy. You could do a pair of LIN3s on a license plate bracket to the rear. Maybe something fairly large (500-series TIR6s?) behind the mesh grille... do two high in the upper grille and two in the lower grille if you really want to be pimpin. You might be able to slip TIR3s into the hood scoop - saw this done on a Trans Am and it was pretty nice. Unfortunately, that still doesn't give you anything up high, which could be a concern. Either toss a stick in the window or look at a (ugh) fold-down visor light.
Personally, I'm done with HAW strobes. They're a pain, require bigger cable, draw more power, etc. The LAWs and Vertexs are just as visible without nearly as many problems.

Yep, 800 mHz. And the lights would be for the usual unmarked police car functions.

John, i sent you an e-mail with some product info. I agree with the above post, i would go with the Antenex Phantom antennas.

"I beg pardon, sire. Won't we hit our own troops?"
"Yes....but we'll hit theirs as well. We have reserves....attack"
