R2600 squelch part

Post by john9912 »

I have an R2600 monitor that I knocked something into the front and broke the knob and shaft of the squelch pot. I need to replace the squelch pot and knob. I called parts ID, they gave me a p/n of GG3330475C001 for the knob which looks OK. They gave me a p/n of GG4026821A001 for the squelch pot. When I try to order it, it comes up as SPDT switch. Doesn't sound right.

Does anyone have the correct part # for squelch pot?

Thanks.

John,

I don't have an R2600 manual so I don't have the part numbers however the knob should start out as GG36 not GG33 and the pot should start out as GG18 (that is IF going by the standard parts format for the old Government Electronics Division of Motorola). Have a Happy New Year.
