XPR8300 Firmware Question
I updated our VHF XPR8300 Repeater to the latest firmware. We are running on 1 Channel, Analog only. Since the firmware update all receive audio from distant stations has been quite poor. Audio was great before the update. Anyone experience this same issue? Do you lose the softspot values in the tuning when updating the firmware?

Re: XPR8300 Firmware Question
Poor quality in TRBO mode or analog?
Tuning values should be preserved after FW upgrades.

Re: XPR8300 Firmware Question
Repeater is operating in Analog mode. I looked at the tuning values before the firmware upgrade and after and they are exactly the same. This repeater is also operating in narrowband 12.5khz.MotoFAN wrote:Poor quality in TRBO mode or analog?

Set it back to 25khz and things should return to normal.
