XTL2500 CH ID error

Post by WB4JGI »

Has anybody seen an error code on the XTL2500 series with dual heads that reads out something like this: CH ID # ERROR

I tried the FPP mode on the front control head but that procedure must be for the XTL5000 series heads because it showed no signs to program in the control head ID number on the 2500 heads. I'm assuming in this case the head needs to be given an ID but I'm not sure how to assign it one.

We've got several other dual heads in service and this is the only one that I'm aware of to give me this error code. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Hold the first menu button (far left) and the orange button BOTH in and power the control head on.

That will allow you to change the control head number.

Ok I'll have to try that when I get back into the office. Thanks
