XTS2500 codeplug version...
Hey, all. I have an XTS2500 M3 800MHz that I just upgraded to the latest firmware version using a legit upgrade from Motorola, being sure to use the latest CPS and everything. My Host and DSP are now 16.00.01 and my codeplug version in the CPS says 001E, but my maximum channels is still 512 and not 870. On my second radio that I ordered the upgrade for, another 2500 M3 in the UHF2 range, and I completed the upgrade for that, Host and DSP 16.00.01, codeplug version of that one however says 001C and the maximum channels says 870 as it should be. What is everyone else's codeplug version and can anyone suggest what happened? Thank you for your time.

Is it a rebanded model that may be limited?

It is definitely rebanding compliant but why would that limit the channels? My other radios are all rebanding compliant but they all say 870 channels.

There were RB models that Nextel purchased to replace radios were not rebanable, they had a different model number, (ends in 2AN, or 2BN) and they were limited in features, one was channel capacity but I thought they were limited to 255.

Mine is definitely 7BN...MOL opened a case and I am waiting to hear back but I wanted to get everyone's input because I am stumped. Is the 8MB of memory on the RF board itself or is it separate and somewhere else in the radio?

they could have screwed up. What is the flashcode on the radio? if it has 3600/9600 interoperability than you should have a full blown W7 with all the features available for your firmware/flashcode combo.
sounds like something got "lost in translation" again.
