MT2000 out of band .odb file mod not working. Help?

Post by JustinMoon205 »

I am trying to program an S split MT2000 down, out of band, to add 2 amateur radio frequencies.

I have done the .odb file modification using hex editor, changed the "450" value in all locations to "440". I still get an error that the frequency is out-of-band and I cannot program in anything under 450.000.

I have done this same .odb file modification for 900mhz, actually same specific .odb file, and it works just fine.

Can you not have the 900 modification AND the 400 modification in the SAME file?

What am I doing wrong?

Any suggestions or ideas?

Using MTSX DOS version 6.07.00 RSS.

Thank you!
