EID Purchase

Hi

Is it possible to purchase a eid digital phone patch option for my dr3000 without having to take it to a dealer or having a mol account.

I basically want to buy a eid digital phone patch and program it with my cps as then i always have the backup and not the dealer as
i beleive its married to the computer that programmed it.

I dunno how Motorola does it outside the US, but in the US you have to go through a dealer now to get the EID. No more parts accounts. And the feature upgrade is in fact tied to the station that receives the EID, not the computer that did the programming.

That sounds like a pain in the butt.

I cant see why they are so funny when people are willing to pay the money.

Bought cps about a month ago through a dealer and big m updated the day after i received it.
The trouble i had to get the update.
