Astro Spectra/Saber serial number change in the S-record?

Hi there all,

Recently I have made a few changes on my Astro Spectra radio, so I had to dump a totally different radio's s-record into the modified radio. Well, unfortunately this ended up with a same serial number as the donor radio has. I would like to change the serial number in the s-record but I always end up with a FAIL 01/92. Must be some kind of checksum issue.

I have searched the net for weeks to find a tutorial or documentation about changing the serial number on an Astro radio, but I haven't found anything useful.

Can somebody please help me?
