Presented with a UHF R1225 chassis with an interesting RX Audio problem - doesn't pass audio. RX sensitivity is good, PL decodes properly and turns on the repeat but audio doesn't pass. When RX goes away, the courtesy tone is heard over the air, and I can key a mic. in the front panel and that audio gets transmitted OK. If I enable a CWID, I can hear it both over the air and the speaker I hooked up to the access. conn.
Schematic tells me the audio goes to the bottom side of the board; tracing it there will entail some gyrations. Has anyone been down this road before?
Oh and has anyone ever run across PDF version of the R1225 transceiver manual?

Oh, sorry; no to the RX audio over the speaker.
Re: R1225 repeater RX audio issue
Has the repeater been optioned for handset use by chance?
Re: R1225 repeater RX audio issue
Check to verify it wasn't set up for an external repeater controller. I bought a used one that was set up that way. Found in the programming it was setup for external repeater vs the standard internal basic. Look under radio wide general options. Think it was repeater w/external

Unidirectional repeater, (internal controller), handset is not enabled. Pretty basic configuration.
