Naked MCS2000

About 80 ex-government moto radios Type: MR503AB, Model: M01RFM9PW5BN - (No Face Display or accessories), which I gather are the same as MCS2000, have come up for auction. They want aud20 for four which seems pretty cheap.

However they do not have the control head or any accessories. I am wondering if there is anything that can be done with them on 70cm in this state, e.g. use two to make a repeater, use with a data modem? I hate to see a bargain go to waste but of course it is no bargain if they are useless as is.
