It's on my calendar but I have not booked a room yet. I looked a couple of weeks ago and was finding everything full in the area where I usually stay. Hoping I can find something or it might be break year from the Hamvention. Would like to be there just to see if any renovations have started. There was recent news media coverage of this.

Re: DAYTON 2015! Who's in? The official 2015 thread
i booked last night after an hour and a half looking for a reasonable hotel and found one south of the Hamvention with a indoor pool for 101$ a night. its about 15 minutes away from fest. its the Country inn and suites by carlson, gets high ratings on Orbitz.
all the miller road hotels that are reasonable are booked up now, the remaining require a crack pipe price of 170+$ a night.
one hotel clerk advised there's a Jehovah's witness convention in the area during that time too which is likely contributing to the lack of rooms.

Re: DAYTON 2015! Who's in? The official 2015 thread
i booked here too
Re: DAYTON 2015! Who's in? The official 2015 thread
Gonna be there in the same spot as last year. Not sure what all I am bringing to sell. I know I am bringing some VHF and UHF duplexers and most likely a stickerless XTL5K VHF high power with a W-9 head. Gonna have a VHF and UHF MSF5000 as well, Coax and connectors out the wazoo. If you are looking for anything specific PM me and let me know. I will see if I have it and bring it along.
Oh yeah, I will also have a StepIR antenna (controller boom and all but one set of the fiberglass element tubes) and some other HF antenna goodies.
