Centracom II BLN6654D JUMPERS

Post by miken8eqd »

Hello,

I have a BLN6654D board in one of the card slots. I do not have a manual for this card so would it be possible to get a list of the jumpers on this card?

Thanks

Well,

Applicaion is interfacing a echolink node through a tone remote that is connected to this module.

I took another look at the board and found JU33 Squeltch enable/disable. It was enabled so i'm going to try that and see if that will make it work

thanks

What exactly are you wanting the interface to do?

The BLN6654D Base Interface Module (BIM) is just a 600-ohm in/out interface with tone keying (or DC with a daughtercard)...

What was happening was the audio would mute if another station's audio was weak.
JU33 was labeld Squelch and it was enabled. so i changed the jumper from enable to disable. So now if audio was weak, it will not mute.
Since there is no "radio" connected to this card, squelch is not needed.

thanks
